Make poverty history


If you had the chance to make millions of people happy, clear of poverty, famine and thirst just by sitting in a large room and talking to some important looking people would you do it? A lot of these third world countries are in huge debt with the richer ones, when I say dept I mean the sort of dept they are in is only able to be shown on computer screens because they owe more money than there is on this planet. No one in these third world countries are able to make a living easily because anything they earn goes straight to paying of the rich countries, meaning they are never happy and are unable to feed them selves and there children, there are millions upon millions of people suffering, dying, going hungry and catching horrible diseases because these rich countries are to stuck up there own arses to just say that your dept is cleared and you no longer need to pay us money. Why should it be so hard, such a f***ing challenge to make people happy. Why should we just sit there and watch people suffer when we have the power to stop it. What is wrong with the human race to just accept this sort of thing and not even think about it or care? How would the governors of the rich countries like it if we locked them in a large room and make them try and get food out of rock chippings and sand, watch them dehydrate because not a drop of water has passed there lips in days. WHY CANT WE JUST MAKE POVERTY HISTORY. It’s not like the rich countries will become poor and find it impossible to live just because they have cleared all of the money owed. This really pisses me off. It makes me ashamed to be human, in the knowledge that we are evil and don’t give a shit about other people. I am getting quiet worked up now and need to cool down so I will end it here. If in the future you walk down the street and find someone lying there in pain or suffering in one way or another, don’t just walk on by thinking its none of your business and you shouldn’t get involved, help the person in question thinking, “that could be me lying there” do all you can for that person then you will be safe in the knowledge that if you where in the same state one day someone will help you. What comes around goes around, whatever you think it always works.
